After quite a few hard months, I plan on taking this advice serious.

Best pickup line ever?
Today at work while coming through the cashier line a customer utters as he passes me "someone needs to tell you you're beautiful". And it didn't hurt that he was pretty hot.
Totally made my day.

What d'ya know, money can buy happiness
Check out the story here. Guess it only takes about $75,000 to be happy. Sounds about right to me. Still can't buy me love though.

I put the "pro" in procrastination
Here's collection of pictures from my phone that I've been meaning to post for ages now.
Just another day at work.
This (in the parking garage) absolutely made my day.

Also from my work...in the bathroom stall actually.

In Steamboat. I wanted to apply but it all depends on how one defines a "Grown Up"
Also in Steamboat, my aunt and Ben Franklin taking it easy. Notice Ben's beer*

Do you love coloring as much as I do?
If so you can download some sweet patterns here, print them, and go color crazy! I can't wait to try it myself.

Heart-Fluttering Adorableness
There is a reason that Joesph Gordon-Levitt has always been one of my top celebrity crushes. <3
Damn!
This kid lost his arms when he was 10 in an accident but that never stopped him from playing the piano.
In other news, I think I will move to the Philippines because I really like their honest politicians (oxymoron?)

Graffiti Love
I saw this on http://neatorama.com and almost wanted to cry it was so cute. Who says chivalry is dead? :)
People say graffiti isn't art, and that it's just a crime blah blah blah, but graffiti is totally and absolutely an artform. Yes people do "tag" and stuff, and yes it's usually done in acts of protest and rebellion, but that's what makes it great. I love how everyone (especially authority) hate it, but sometimes it is the only way to get to people. I depise politics, but political protest graffiti is amazing when done well. This artform is unique in every way. I love it because it always conveys some sort of message, whether it's political protest or simply a display of one man's affection for the woman he loves.
I envy those that are as talented as the man in the video. Hell, the closet thing I can get to graffiti is the spay can option in the Paint program on PC's. When I rode the lightrail to school everyday, I would see all sorts of beautiful graffiti on buildings and old trains that passed by, and every time I told myself that one day I will take my camera and photograph all of them, making my own graffiti collage-like project of sorts. I never did though, mostly because I lack a good camera. My digital camera is broke but I do have an old, faily nice film one, but I know it wont be capable of capturing what I want it to. I guess it's worth a shot though.
Here are a few of my favorite graffiti peieces...

I'm not entirely sure where this one is from, but it is along the U.S./Mexico border

Oh! and there's these too...reverse graffiti, so cool. It's where artists create graffiti by simply cleaning off dirt from walls and cars and whatnot.

Long Time No Post
It's been forever since I posted something. I've been too busy dealing with the big things in life, I guess.
I'm in love with this quote right now. It gives me a little inspiration to keep on trucking with all that's going on in my life right now...
.
I also love this video and think it's genius. It's such a simple way to get people in touch with their inner-child, and well...just put some fun in their boring daily routines.
One day I will have my dream house and there will most definitely be a giant slide in it.

In this sad world of ours, sorrow comes to all...Perfect relief is not possible, except with time. You cannot now realize that you will ever feel better...And yet this is a mistake. You are sure to be happy again

A little late I know..
but 4/20 cracks me up. It's gotta be one of the silliest (although fun, ha) "holidays" ever.
On this years particular stoner holiday, I was in my World History class and the class was having an intense debate oh whether it was justifiable for the United States to round up American Japanese citizens following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Well an interesting fellow was on a full blown rant, and out of nowhere, in the middle of his rant he yells out "Wooooh!! 420!!". Hilarious. The teacher had no idea what to say. This was the kid that also reminded the class that it was Hitler's birthday and began class singing happy birthday to Hitler.

Note to self:
It is much easier to get a 3 year to smile for a picture by making them say "BOOGERS!", not "cheese".

Ta-dah!
So I created this blog to share all the little things I come across in life that make each day just a little bit better, especially on those crap-ass FMTPO (urbandictionary it if you must) days. I'll include anything from quotes to pictures to videos to whatever else tickles my fancy. Hope you'll find it enjoyable as well.
